Our Guarantees
Every custom home builder in the Columbia River Gorge will tell you they're different. We'd rather show you.
Below are the five commitments that shape how we design and build — the same five whether you're planning a new home in White Salmon or a remodel in Trout Lake.
They aren't taglines. They're what you can expect in writing before you sign a construction contract, and what we hold ourselves to once the work begins.
The Real Budget Guarantee
Before you sign a construction contract with us, you'll have a real, line-item budget built from actual subcontractor bids and your preferred materials. Not a ballpark. Not a range you're told to expect will probably hold. A number you can make decisions from — tied to your Preliminary Building Agreement (PBA), the process that gets you a real cost estimate before you commit to build. If we haven't given you that, we haven't done our job yet.
The Design Continuity Guarantee
The person who develops your design is the same person overseeing your build. Adam brings formal architecture training and construction experience to every project, and he stays involved from first concept through final walkthrough — so nothing gets lost in translation between what was designed and what gets built.
The Schedule Transparency Guarantee
Before we break ground, you'll have a preliminary schedule mapping the full build, phase by phase. We update it as we go, and if something is going to move, you'll hear it from us before it becomes a delay — not after.
The No Compromise Guarantee
Sustainable and beautiful are never a trade-off in our builds. We design for resilience — materials that perform in this climate, a home that's site-responsive from the first sketch, details built to age well instead of needing to be redone. It's the baseline we build from, not an upgrade you pay extra for.

What People Are Saying
“Adam Mills Elliott stands out as one of the best contractors I’ve worked with. I’ve been building in the Columbia River Gorge for more than 22 years and have had the opportunity to work with a lot of different contractors and tradespeople over that time. His communication is exceptional. He’s easy to work with, and he takes tremendous pride in his craftsmanship.”
— Trevor Jostad, Local Builder“Adam is conscientious, upbeat, reliable, and hard working. His attention to detail on our project was appreciated, and not something just anyone could do. He is trustworthy and it was easy and relaxed having him work in our home. We would hire him again.”
— Amy Ford, Former Client and Professional Construction Manager
